[SOLD OUT] Montrose Point Bird Sanctuary + Dovetail Brewing
Take a ~3-mile hike at Montrose Point Bird Sanctuary in Lincoln Park. We’ll take a choose-your-own-adventure hike through the preserve’s winding trails that offer some of the best views of the Chicago skyline. Bring your binoculars! This spot is one of the best for bird watching in the city. We’ll also walk along the lakefront path and look for Piping Plover on sandy trails at the Montrose Beach dunes. Post-hike, grab a beer at Dovetail Brewing with us.

Explore ~3 miles of trail at this lesser-visited forest right on the outskirts of Chicago’s north neighborhoods. Harms Woods sits on the banks of the North Branch of the Chicago River and is a prime spot to check out blooming wildflowers, migrating butterflies, and native birds. Post-hike, we’ll hit up Sketchbook Brewing in Skokie.

Take a 3-mile hike at Ryerson Conservation Area through thick forestland that follows alongside the Des Plaines River. Post-hike, grab a beer in the woodsy Biergärten garden at Buffalo Creek Brewing, which is loved for its massive outdoor patio and wide variety of brews on tap.

St James Farm Trail + Solemn Oath Brewing
Escape to a farm forest preserve on the outskirts of the city with stops at Solemn Oath Brewing’s Naperville (Oathie's Burger Punchout burger cookoff is this day!). The 4-mile hike at St James Farm Forest Preserve meanders along manicured trails through woods, wetlands, and prairie. Here, great blue heron spotting are common and beautiful views are guaranteed.

Grand Mere State Park + St. Joe Community Taproom [PRIDE]
Celebrate PRIDE with us in Southwest Michigan. We’re headed to St. Joe for some hiking and beers, with proceeds from this trip benefiting The OutCenter of Southwest Michigan.
Take a ~4-mile hike at Grand Mere State Park through woodlands and the sandy shoreline of Lake Michigan. Post-hike, grab a beer at the community-focused St. Joe Community Taproom in downtown St. Joseph and Transient Artisan Ales in Bridgeman. This trip includes a free St. Joe Taproom-branded pint glass + $2 off your first pour.
