The Adventure: Take a ~3-mile hike at Montrose Point Bird Sanctuary in Lincoln Park. We’ll take a choose-your-own-adventure hike through the preserve’s winding trails that offer some of the best views of the Chicago skyline. Bring your binoculars! This spot is one of the best for bird watching in the city. We’ll also walk along the lakefront path and look for Piping Plover on sandy trails at theMontrose Beach dunes. Post-hike, grab a beer at Dovetail Brewing with us.
Hike Difficulty: Moderate – Ideal for active hikers, these hikes feature more rolling hills and occasional rocky or root-filled sections of the trail.
Hike Distance: ~3 miles | Drive Time: 20 minutes (one way)
Pickup / Dropoff: This trip leaves from / returns to Bitter Pops in Lakeview (map here). Limited metered street parking is available.

Food? You can pack a lunch to enjoy at the brewery or grab food from any food trucks on site.
Participation Waiver: All attendees must sign the Trail to Taproom participation waiver before the event starts.
Note: Trail to Taproom does NOT provide alcohol to participants. All hikers must buy their own beverages.
