The Adventure: Take a ~2-mile hike at Northerly Island on the edge of Lake Michigan with stunning views of the Chicago skyline. This accessible trail follows a mix of paved sidewalk and gravel path that winds through native Illinois prairie. This urban nature oasis has a rich history for its transformation during the historic World's Fair. Post-hike we’ll grab a beer at Crushed By Giants Brewing Company in the heart of downtown Chicago, where you can also grab some pizza and food inside the taproom.
Hike Difficulty: Moderate – Ideal for active hikers, these hikes feature more rolling hills and occasional rocky or root-filled sections of the trail.
Hike Distance: ~4 miles | Drive Time: 45 minutes (one way)
Pickup / Dropoff: This trip leaves from / returns to Bitter Pops in Lakeview (map here). Limited metered street parking is available.

Participation Waiver: All attendees must sign the Trail to Taproom participation waiver before the event starts.
